Here’s what you need to know…

Building on the success of its December pilot program, Reliance held User Group meetings in late March to educate the community regarding the roll out of the eReferrals enhancements.

  • The enhancements made to eReferrals encompass:
Web-based applications that no longer require a node on your server, saving set up and maintenance time and disk space
  • Shared patient demographic information across the HIE platform eliminating the need to enter patient information when creating a new referral for a patient in the HIE
  • A Unified Landing Page upon log-in that provides a menu from which you can choose the application you want to use

All participating practices were invited to attend, with a focus on the clinics already using Reliance eReferral services. The March 22 webinar reached practices in Curry, Modo, Siskiyou and Lassen Counties, with an in-person session scheduled the following day in Klamath Falls.

The enhancements were well received and Reliance followed up with the clinics to schedule trainings, which begin for some of the clinics this week.

Interested practices can learn more about converting to the new applications by contacting Reliance at support@RelianceHIE.org.
