Charles Kitzman
Rogue Community Health

Mr. Kitzman has an extensive background in education specializing in technology and the humanities. He is an active member of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) and CHIME (College of Health Information Management Executives). He has presented on many topics related to Health IT in various forums including the Western Clinician’s Network and the California Primary Care Association HIT Summits. Mr. Kitzman holds a Master’s degree in Medical Informatics (MS-MMI) from Northwestern University, an MBA from UCLA and an MHA from AT Still University. Charles is an alumnus of the UCSF Clinic Leadership Institute Emerging Leaders Program -an executive training program aimed at health care professionals committed to the safety net. In addition to his duties at Rogue, Charles volunteers as a board officer for the regional Health Information Exchange – SacValley MedShare which serves medical facilities in 16 counties in Northern CA. When he’s not geeking out, he enjoys spending time with his 2 children, playing mandolin and guitar as well as mountain biking.
